What do table dancing involve

Stepping into the world of table dancing jobs

Table dancing jobs moved into the mainstream. Night clubs, perceived as sleazy and hostile, are now seen as ideal places for a casual corporate night out. The job itself has a lot of perks, like the flexible working hours and having the oportunity to make money straight off. Still, before getting a dancing job in a night club, you might want to consider a couple of things.

In this article you'll find some advice about what to expect and how to avoid the pitfalls in the business.

Deciding on whether table dancing jobs are for you

So, you're thinking of working as a table dancer, exotic-dancer or stripper? It's not an easy job, and you'll have to think carefully on whether you want to do it or not, but note that there can be lot of money to be made, if you're in the right place.

Getting started isn't that hard, unless you've chosen an erotic dancing job where you need to have some experience. Basically you just go to the club and talk to the manager, who will let you try for one night and see what you think.

Before going to the club for your first night as a table dancer, it's a good idea to chose a stage name, because it can help you to keep your professional and personal lives separate.

The first night as a table dancer

On your first night, you will probably check the place out and observe the other girls - what are they doing, how are the customers and then...you start to get ready for your first erotic dance. Being fit and flexible is an advantage, but don't worry if you're not - you can make money whether or not you can hold money between your breasts while doing the splits.

Keep in mind that you don't need to be 90-60-90, every men has different tastes in women so there is no need to keep strict diets. Everyone can get by if they're creative enough with the dance routines and know how to pose.

Strip clubs are set up differently, but in most clubs, there's a main stage, where one girl at a time does her routine for one or two songs. Some clubs have a main stage and side stages, where girls rotate from the main stage and then around the club on tables. Some tables may or may not have poles to help your erotic dance routines, which are very helpful once you get used to them.

Getting paid as a table dancer

Rules vary from one club to another, but typically you will collect tips and extras from customers all night, then: you give some fixed amount of that to the DJ, waitresses and other employees. The fixed amount depends on whether you're a regular, how many nights you work a week etc.

After tipping, the rest of the money is just yours to take home!
